Cruise suggestions

Six routes, refined by the wind.

Mallorca South in a relaxed way
1 week · 110 nm

Mallorca's South — relaxed

A gentle loop along the island's southern bays. Short legs, plenty of time at anchor, Cabrera mid-week. Ideal for families with small children.

Palma → Sa Rápita → Cabrera → Portals Vells → Port d'Andratx → Sant Elm → Palma
Mallorca South-East coast
1 week · 120 nm

Mallorca's South-East

The turquoise calas of the south-east coast. Fishing villages, hidden coves, the fjord-like harbour of Porto Cristo, Cabrera to finish. Something for every kind of day.

Palma → Sa Rápita → Portocolom → Porto Cristo → Cala Figuera → Cabrera → Palma
Around Mallorca in a week
1 week · 190 nm

Around Mallorca

The full circumnavigation. Tramuntana cliffs on the west, Cap Formentor at the top, east-coast calas down the far side, Cabrera to close. Ambitious and weather-dependent.

Palma → Port d'Andratx → Port de Sóller → Alcúdia → Porto Cristo → Cabrera → Palma
Mallorca Ibiza Formentera 1 week
1 week · 200 nm

Mallorca · Ibiza · Formentera

Across to Ibiza, down to Caribbean-blue Formentera, back via Ibiza Town. Two long crossings, bring your weather window. Dolphins en route if you're lucky.

Palma → Andratx → Cala Portinatx → Sant Antoni → Cala Saona → Ibiza Town → Palma
Mallorca Ibiza Formentera 2 weeks
2 weeks · 240 nm

Mallorca · Ibiza · Formentera — extended

The same arc at half speed. Real days on Formentera's beaches, a proper lap of Ibiza's west coast, evenings ashore wherever the mood takes you.

Palma → Andratx → Portinatx → Sant Antoni → La Savina → Cala Saona → Es Pujols → Ibiza Town → Palma
Mallorca South-East and around Menorca 2 weeks
2 weeks · 300 nm

South-East + Menorca

Mallorca's south-east, a full lap of quieter Menorca, Cabrera on the way home. The strongest mistral risk in the fleet — plan carefully and the Caribbean-blue calas of Menorca's south pay you back.

Palma → Sa Rápita → Portocolom → Cala Ratjada → Ciutadella → Fornells → Mahón → Porto Cristo → Cabrera → Palma

Every route is run in German, English or Spanish, starts Saturday noon in Marina La Lonja, and rewrites itself the morning of departure based on the wind.

Two ways to go

Bareboat, or with a captain.

Choose by how much you want the week to be about the sailing itself, and how much you want to simply be a guest.

Bareboat

You're the captain.

You take the boat. You choose the route. You make the wind calls. We hand over the keys, the checklist, and a phone number you can call if something breaks.

  • Requires a valid skipper's licence (or equivalent experience)
  • Full technical handover with our shore team
  • 24/7 phone support from Palma base
  • Starter provisioning pack and charts
  • Security deposit refundable on return
For experienced sailors who've done this before and prefer the freedom.
Skippered

We bring the captain.

Your skipper is a local professional who knows every anchorage on this coast. They sail, they anchor, they know where to find the lobster. You sail along, help as much or as little as you want, or you don't at all.

  • No licence required — just show up
  • Daily route planning based on the wind
  • Local knowledge: best coves, best restaurants, best swim spots
  • Optional hostess / cook for catered charters
  • All boat handling and navigation included
For families, first-time sailors, or anyone who wants to just be aboard.
What's included

No fine print.

What's in the charter fee, what's extra, what's optional. Written plainly — nothing hidden in clause 17.

Included

  • The boat, fully equipped and insured
  • Technical handover and debrief
  • Bed linen & towels (bath + beach)
  • Dinghy with outboard
  • Snorkelling gear, paddleboards
  • Cockpit cushions, bimini, awnings
  • Full galley including cookware
  • Chart plotter, pilot guides
  • 24/7 shore support

Extra

  • Fuel (pay on return by actual use)
  • Provisioning — we arrange, you approve
  • Mooring fees in commercial marinas
  • Skipper, if booked
  • Hostess / cook, if booked
  • Cabrera national park permit (~€70)
  • End-of-charter cleaning

Not needed

  • Any prior sailing experience (skippered)
  • Formal dress code — ever
  • Phone service (we'll find you)
  • Your own cooking gear
  • A shoe rotation — sandals suffice
  • Hope-for-the-best weather planning
Guest notes

What the boats hear at the end of the week.

— Julia & Tom · Hamburg · Aug '25

Good questions

Answered honestly.

Do I need any sailing experience?
No — not if you book skippered. Our captains handle everything technical. If you choose bareboat, you'll need a recognised skipper's licence (ICC, RYA Day Skipper, equivalents) and some prior charter experience. We'll ask for paperwork during booking.
What about seasickness?
Mallorca's sheltered south coast is famously calm — most guests who worry about it don't end up needing anything. We also plan around weather, so we don't push into conditions that would make the day unpleasant. If you're sensitive, we'll steer you toward the beamier boats in the fleet (Dufour 470 or Bavaria C46) which sit more stable under sail. We keep ginger tablets and Stugeron aboard.
Is the boat suitable for children?
Very. We run plenty of family charters. All boats have guardrails, life jackets for every age, and our skippers are patient — many are parents themselves. Tip: kids ages 7+ tend to love it; under that, ask us and we'll be frank about what to expect.
What does the skipper do, exactly?
Everything involving the boat. Route planning based on wind forecasts, all sailing manoeuvres, anchoring, docking, mechanical things. What they don't do: cook, wait on you, or clean. For that, add a hostess/cook — we arrange it as part of the package.
How does provisioning work?
We send a shared list two weeks before departure. You tell us what you like (and don't), any allergies, how much wine to expect. Groceries are waiting aboard when you arrive. You pay cost-price; we don't mark up food. Mid-week resupply is easy — we stop at coastal villages.
What if the weather is bad?
The Mediterranean in season is forgiving, but the tramuntana (our northern wind) can blow hard in spring and autumn. Your skipper will adjust the route to keep you on sheltered water. In rare cases where conditions prevent sailing entirely, we'll reschedule the day or extend the charter where possible.
What's the cancellation policy?
Full refund up to 60 days before departure. 50% refund between 30–60 days. Inside 30 days, we aim to reschedule rather than refund, and we work with you honestly. We strongly recommend charter-specific trip insurance either way.
When's the best time to come?
May, June, and September are our favourite months — warm enough for swimming, not yet crowded, wind usually cooperative. July and August are hotter and busier (and pricier). April and October are quieter and cheaper; water is cooler but the sailing is often excellent.
